Screen Printing Emulsions
Screen printing emulsions are light-sensitive coatings used to create stencils on screens. When exposed to light, the emulsion hardens, while unexposed areas remain soft and wash out to form the image.
Emulsions vary based on application needs, including options for water-based and solvent-based inks, as well as liquid emulsions and capillary films.
Due to their light sensitivity, emulsions should be applied in a darkroom or under UV-safe lighting conditions.
SPSI carries emulsions from Chromaline and CCI to support a variety of printing applications and workflows.
